The NORM-HF Trial

You may be able to take part in the NORM-HF Trial evaluating an Investigational fluid monitoring system designed to detect fluid buildup in your body so your doctor can act before it leads to hospitalization.

Clinical Outcomes

In a small clinical trial1 of 65 patients, results showed an 85% reduction in heart failure events. Based on these early results, the NORM-HF trial is now enrolling participants to test how well the Norm system can be used to help manage heart failure.

The Norm System for HF Management

The Norm System is an investigational device designed to be a simple daily companion to help people with heart failure monitor and control their fluid volume at home. The Norm System has 3 components:
1. A sensor that is placed in the large vein near your heart (called the IVC) to monitor your fluid levels. This is done through a simple, same-day procedure.
2. A belt you wear for a few minutes a day that receives sensor data.
3. An app on your phone so you can check your status and receive direction from your care team
